ACT
ACT - American College Testing
The ACT Testing is focused on the areas of English, Reading, Mathematics, Science and an optional Writing section. The ACT is designed to measure academic achievement and focuses on core-curriculum content. The ACT provides sub-scores for each section along with an overall composite score (1-36). There are some colleges that will accept the ACT with writing in lieu of subject tests. Although the writing section is optional, many colleges do require it, so we generally recommend that students take the writing portion of the exam.
